About FII
FII is a 60 years old Federation of Industries and of Business establishments directly connected with Industry. It is a congenial and congruent group of Large, Medium & Small Industries, Senior Corporate Leaders and thorough Professionals bound together with a common objective of promoting and furthering the interests of its Members and overall Industry at all possible forums. Government and otherwise.
Federation has along and strong history of more than 5 decades of pursuing Industry and Individual Members’ issues with utmost promptness and diligence.
In April 2013 Federation celebrated its“Golden Jubilee”during which Federation was greatly honored with the presence of India’s 11th President & “Bharat Ratna” The Late Hon’ble Dr. Abdul Kalam Sahib as the function “Chief Guest”.
Several important events were held in the last 5 years like the “International Business Development seminars” with Senior International Diplomats/Business leaders and “Intellectuals-Industry Meets” with Technology and Corporate
Leaders.
Federation has a well planned and active infrastructure to support and realise its objectives of providing all possible support to its Members to achieve their overall Business Objectives.
The physical infrastructure consists of a prime ground plus two storey landmark Federation House in the center of Wagle Estate, Thane, Mumbai with conference halls, training centre, communications centre and an efficient secretariat.
The greatest asset of Federation are its vibrant, diverse and pro-active Members, willing to take up the cause of the co-members.

The Federations Mission
Our mission is to influence policy makers, engage and encourage debate and to be the bridge between the industry, policy makers and civil society in general. Federation expresses the views and concerns of the industry. It serves its members from the Indian private and public corporate sectors and multinational companies, drawing its strength from diverse industry across states, reaching out to a large number of companies.
The Federations mission is also to be the voice of India’s business and industry and to provide a platform for networking and consensus building within and across sectors for Indian industry, policy makers and the international business community.
